Happy July 1st. We had a nice breakfast at the hotel. They had a full warm breakfast bar, which was fantastic. Sausage/egg McMuffins. The kids love to make their own waffles. Bagels with vegetable cream cheese. Delicious strong black coffee (the kind I like, but I think it had just been sitting there for a while). The kids had a brief swim to try out the pool and hot tub. We are now on the road to Chicago! We are going to have to go with ugly hair as the hotel has said they are out of shampoo. REALLY? We were low at home and for the first time EVER, I decided on a whim to rely on hotel shampoo and conditioner this time. Ok.........
