Bus ride to Aquarium

After the doll was delivered to the hotel room by Brink's Security, we walked 5 blocks to the nearest bus stop. The kids got to see their first street performer, a sax player, on the corner. They put some coins in his cup. We waited for about 10 minutes and our bus arrived. I keep thinking about what was going through the regular commuters' minds when they saw us get on. Family of 5 gets on a bus, two camera cases, grinning from ear to ear. We tried out several different seats before we became settled. I took pictures. Well, I want to make memories for my kids, you know. The bus we were on was two buses put together, with an "accordion" looking contraption in the middle. When the front part of the bus turned the corner, the back pushed up against it, and the middle acted just like an accordion. It normally does not play music, but on this day, it created screams of joy. Kennady and Matthew just loved it! Everytime we turned, they cackled out. The regulars' moved further back. It cost us $10 to ride down by Lake Michigan. We got to see a lot of the city on the way that we would not normally have seen. We got off at the Shedd Aquarium and spent the day there.
